March Ipsy Bag

March Ipsy Bag
It's that time again... it's Ipsy Bag time!!! As usual I couldn't wait to get this month's bag.  I've found some of my most favorite makeup items from Ipsy, so I'm always excited to see if I'll find my next favorite! I mean they could seriously send me a nail polish every time and I wouldn't be mad at em!

What's Ipsy? A pretty freakin cool monthly subscription service for $10 a month with 4-5 beauty products in full, deluxe size, or sample size. Just go ahead and sign up, you won't regret it. And if you hate it, you can cancel anytime. Sign up here

They have started a new thing this month where an artist designs the bag! It was very unique and different from most bags and I definitely appreciate the artistry, but my bag was a little sticky on the outside. This is how cool it looked.

Bag Contents:
Nicole by OPI

Like I said, if they give me a nail polish, I ain't mad. I haven't tried this yet, but I love the color, a whole lot! It is also one of those texture polishes, which I've never tried before. This is Nicole by OPI Roughles | On What Grounds? | $8
Be A Bombshell

This eye shadow quad looks just like a quad of summer. The colors are just that perfect blend of ocean, sun, sand, and tan skin colors. I wore this a couple days ago and really liked it. It had great staying power. This is Be a Bombshell Cosmetics | Bora Bora | $16

Bare Minerals

I absolutely am lipstick lover but honestly this isn't my favorite shade. First of all it seems a bit dark or fallish (yea I made that up) for this time of year. Second it looks like its for an older woman. No offense to anyone. I probably will still use this lipstick every now and then when I want a more neutral everyday lip.  This is Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick | Get Ready | $18

Face Primer

Lastly, a face primer. I love primer especially if it works but this one is just not for my skin type at all. As soon as I put it on I could tell. Like I've mentioned before my face is oily, so putting a hydrating/dewy primer on my face before foundation is just a big no no. It just didn't work for me, but I'm sure this would work for someone with normal to dry skin. This is Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer | $9

Overall I give this bag a 5 out of 10. Half of the products I didn't really care for and the other half I loved! Not too shabby, but obviously I would rather like everything in my bag. The great thing about this subscription program and since I didn't like everything I can go to the website and tell them that, then they won't send me those products again. Bingo!

The combined total of this bag is $51.  Sign up here if you are interested! Click here to view February's Bag.

Didn't love my ipsy this month either. I do love the bombshell products! Got a few great blushes in the past. I hate the nail polish, I got the same as you. I laughed reading the lip stick comments because it is Offically a favorite of mine!! The color looks awesome on me,, but mom always told me growing up, lip color looks totally different on everyone! I gladly didn't get the face primer, I got the lotion and I love it. This time last year i the same brand lotion a different flavor Nd I've kept it in my car, Almost out so it's perfect! My bag is kind of sticky too like it would melt if I left it in the sun or something odd... Anyway great blog :)

  2. Yea I'm such a nail polish junkie that I like anything, I just painted my nails with it and I love the color, the finish is pretty rough like it's supposed to be, I'm just not used to that at all, I like the glossy high shine look. And the lipstick isn't as bad now that I've worn it a few times. But I have seen pictures of other people with the same color on and it looks totally different on them! I'm probably just used to seeing myself in brighter more bold lipsticks! Thanks for reading my blog! :)
