Ipsy: February Bag

   February Ipsy Bag

I am always anxiously awaiting my Ipsy bags each month, there is just something so exciting about getting 4 or 5 deluxe samples each month and not having any idea what you will get!

Ipsy Bag
If you don't know what Ipsy is, it is a monthly subscription program that arrives in a cute little bag filled with deluxe beauty samples and full size items for just $10 a month. The items you get in your are curated from a short Beauty Quiz you take when registering. You can also get points for rating the items you receive, then you can spend those points on bonus items for your bag. Sign up here.

I've been doing this for about 2 years and I've enjoyed things in each bag but more importantly I've learned and fell in love with new products I had no idea existed! If you don't find your next holy grail product in this program you can at least use the items when you travel. :)

Cream Shadow

First up... the Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow in Spiced Rum. This is a full size item for $18. It is a base and shadow in one so it won't crease throughout the day. Love this warm bronzed kind of color.

Zoya Nail Polish

This is Zoya Nail Polish in Odette. This is a super pretty purple/gray color and the perfect transitional color from winter to spring.  These are $9.

Fake Eyelashes

 J. Cats Eyelashes in EL20 including eyelash glue. To be honest, I could do without getting eyelashes in my Ipsy bag. I don't typically wear falsies so to me personally it's a waste and I would rather get something else. But these look like a nice full pair of falsies. These are $4.

Body Butter

Pacifica Hawaiian Ruby Guava Body Butter. This body butter is "a tropical blend of sweet juicy guava and citrusy pomelo come to life in a base of subtle coconut. The scent of the South Pacific." And it smells amazing! This is a deluxe sample, the full size is $14.99.

Pop Plump Pout

Lastly, I received Pop Beauty's Plump Pout in Fuchsia Freesia. This is a  pretty poppy pink color that isn't too sticky on the lips. The only problem I noticed with mine is it smelled like gasoline, which is never a good thing for your lips, but maybe something was just wrong with mine. This is a deluxe sample, the full size is $16.00.

Overall I liked this bag, I thought it had some great items in it that I will get a lot of use out of. Can't wait to see what I get next month!

The total value of this bag if I went out and picked up every item (not including the bag itself) would be $62. $62 worth for $10 is great to me! To start getting your own Ipsy bag click here.

Do you subscribe to any Beauty Subscription Programs? If so which one?
